Student Thriving

ensuring that the students we seek can enroll and thrive

Students and their formation are integral to every one of Georgetown’s ambitions. For a large percentage of them, donor-funded scholarships are an essential first step, especially when those scholarships shrink students’ loan burden.

We also need to create the conditions for students to flourish, supporting their mental health and well-being, fostering a sense of belonging, and nurturing their interests. When Georgetown students thrive, when they can become who they are called to be, they are a tremendous force for good.

John J. DeGioia Scholarship Initiative

A platform for expanding undergraduate and graduate financial aid, the DeGioia Scholarship Initiative honors President Emeritus DeGioia’s career-long leadership on affordable access. Gifts to this project will help increase the number of Georgetown students who benefit from donor-funded scholarships. Learn more >
